"Don't die before you go to Banda Neira"

 

What do you do during the semester holidays? For me, during the semester holidays, my girlfriend and I went on a trip to Banda Naira. Banda Naira is one of the islands in the Banda Islands, and is the administrative center of Banda District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku. Since ancient times, Banda Neira has been known as a valuable nutmeg producing island. In fact, Banda Neira is said to be the only place producing nutmeg in the world. Nutmeg is an attraction for European nations such as the Spanish, Portuguese and British.

Why did we choose Banda Naira, as a holiday destination? We chose Banda Naira because the place is beautiful, calming, beautiful, and far from air pollution. We started our journey to Banda Naira from Tanjung Perak Harbor, Surabaya on Monday, arriving there on Thursday using boat transportation.
